David Shoesmith

Friday Night Barman

David Shoesmith is our shy and retiring barman.* He sings with the Semitone Singers as well as the Maia Singers. He is also the Gigmeister (booking administrator) for the Semitone Singers Men's Choir, which performs about 30 times a year in care homes, day centres, and at special events. He is currently learning to play guitar with Patrick McKenzie. You can hear his dulcet tones from time to time in the open mic portion of the live Friday night events, sometimes accompanied by his guitar.

David is also a proud member of Marple Runners, a Parkrun enthusiast, and he has competed in Cross Country races every year for the past 40 years.

*David is neither shy nor retiring but is known to tell a joke or two.
