Welcome to the new year! Semitone Studios are well rested and rearing to go in 2026.
Firstly, we are delighted to announce that we have a new singing teacher starting this month. Charlotte is a brilliant addition to the team and we will be posting about her fully on our website soon.
Plucky Goat Music School has added to their schedule, so has outgrown the use of our space on Saturdays. Though we have no immediate plans, we are open to ideas.
We have previously charged a very low rate for our space to accomodate growth of small community projects, and that is something we would like to continue. Please get in touch if you have an idea!
The Semitone Singers (our three choirs) start their new term week beginning 12th January. We are looking to recruit some new members to our Men's Choir this year. This particular choir performs some wonderful gigs in and around the region at residential and carehomes, as well as public gigs like Notcotts and local pubs. Our live music restarts later this month, with an Extended Open Mic on 16th January. We have Rob Crampton as our Featured Artist on 23rd January, and another Extended Open Mic on 30th. Booking is required as space is limited - DM us, email: info@semitonestudios.com to secure a seat.
