On Friday 18 October 2019 at 8 pm the featured artist at the Semitone Studios live words and music will be Monologue John Bartley, spoken word. It is over two years since John was the featured artist at Semitone Studios but we see him most weeks and his monologues are something we all look forward to. It is great to have him as featured artist again. Following his set we will as usual have an open mic.
Admission is free but for the first time we are holding this as a fund-raising event in aid of We Shall Overcome, work with homeless people in Tameside led by Pauline Town at the Station Hotel in Ashton. We hope that people will feel able to contribute generously to this.
