Semitone Studios is a music studio/music venue located in the heart of Marple. We offer music lessons, recording sessions, and live music. We firmly believe that music should be accessible to everyone, and whilst we pride ourselves on the excellent musicianship of our team, we fully embrace all those who create in our community.
Musicians use the word 'semitone' to refer to the distance between two adjacent notes, generally the smallest distance found in Western music. We believe that anything is possible, one tiny step at a time.

Welcome to March! This year is flying by with lots of activity at Semitone Studios!
Due to demand, we are looking to recruit a vocal tutor to join us. Do you have the necessary skills and experience, or perhaps you can recommend someone who does? Get in touch - email: info@semitonestudios.com
Our founder, Taylor Giacoma will be performing at Picnic Club, held at Station South on 5th March at 7.30pm, alongside other talented musicians Jack & the Black Dog, David Holmes and Picnic Area. Admission is free, but guests are asked to bring groceries for the Levenshulme Foodbanks if you can.
The Semitone Singers are preparing for their Spring concert entitled 'Across the Universe' on Tuesday 25th March at Wilmslow United Reformed Church - for tickets, please email or call: 0161 826 7613 (and leave a message).
Our regular live music nights are back with featured artists Matt Woodman on 7th March and as well as his father David Woodman on 21st March - there are extended open mics on the 14th and 28th.
